Students Welcomed to University of Mobile

The University of Mobile welcomed new students to campus with a whirlwind week of events during UM’s Ram Rush. It began with Move-In Day on Saturday, Aug. 11, where UM upperclassmen, faculty, staff and alumni helped students carry items to their dorm rooms. Ram Rush events included Meet UM, a barbeque, a campus-wide worship service, a drive-in movie, the Gong Show, Sundaes on Monday, the UM Expo and the Goodwill Gala. After a few days of classes, UM’s Campus Ministries hosted Dinner on the Run, a progressive dinner where students are familiarized with area churches.
