University of Mobile’s Opera Theater presents ‘Everything but the Groom:  Love and Marriage from a Woman’s Perspective’ 

The University of Mobile Opera Theater will present a musical and dramatic production featuring scenes from the operatic repertory, “Everything but the Groom:  Love and Marriage from a Woman’s Perspective.”  

The performance will be held Thursday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. in Weaver Auditorium on the university campus, 5735 College Pkwy. Assistant professors of music Dr. Mihaela Buhaiciuc, Dr. Allanda Small, and Dr. Patrick Jacobs will direct.

Female student vocalists from the University of Mobile’s Center of Performing Arts will move the audience with bridal choruses and dramatic scenes of betrayal. Adjunct instructor Christopher Lovely is piano accompanist.
