University of Mobile Invites High School
Juniors, Seniors to Spring Preview Day

High school juniors and seniors and their parents interested in learning about the University of Mobile are invited to attend Spring Preview Day on Friday, Feb. 15.

High school seniors who attend Spring Preview Day are eligible for up to $2,000 in scholarships when they enroll at UM for fall semester 2008. For information or to register to attend Spring Preview Day, contact Enrollment Services at (251) 442-2273 or 800-WIN-RAMS, by email at adminfo@mail.umobile.edu, or visit the website at www.umobile.edu/admissions and click on “visit the campus.”

During Spring Preview Day, students and their families may tour campus, meet UM President Dr. Mark Foley, observe an academic class, learn about financial aid, and attend a university music event and comedy night. A limited number of students may stay overnight in a residence hall.

Nearly 1,600 undergraduate and graduate students attend UM, which is Baptist-affiliated. Tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state students. The University of Mobile is among the top master’s-level universities in the South, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2008 edition of “America’s Best Colleges,” and had been named one of “America’s Best Christian Colleges” for 11 consecutive years.

The university is located just north of Mobile, Ala., and about an hour from Gulf Coast beaches.
UM offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and over 40 areas of study through the College of Arts and Sciences; the Center for Performing Arts; the schools of business, Christian studies, education and nursing; and the Center for Adult Programs.
