UM Alumni Association Calls
for Chapter Volunteers

The University of Mobile is currently looking for UM alumni in the areas of Montgomery, Birmingham, and Baldwin County to organize the first local chapters of the university’s Alumni Association in their cities.

Chapter leaders will have the opportunity to unite local UM graduates for social and professional networking and to provide a platform for them to learn ways to support UM and to stay involved in its growth throughout the year.

Chapter leaders’ responsibilities include promoting one meeting a year for their chapter; staying informed on university news; encouraging alumni communication and participation with the university at chapter events and on campus; and maintaining contact with UM’s alumni office, which will serve as their support.

The university is also seeking alumni from these areas to assist the UM admissions team with local college fairs and awards banquets, or to host send-off parties for local freshman students preparing to attend UM.
