UM Center for Adult Programs Enrolling Students for Fall Semester

The University of Mobile is accepting applications for fall semester for adult students interested in earning bachelor’s degrees through the Center for Adult Programs.

The five bachelor’s degree programs are designed for students age 25 and older who are beginning or continuing their college education. Courses are offered nights and weekends which lead to bachelor’s degrees in early and elementary childhood education, business administration, leadership and cultural studies, and Biblical studies. Courses are offered in a day-long Friday program for the R.N.-to-B.S.N. program designed for registered nurses earning a bachelor of science in nursing.

The bachelor of science in early childhood or elementary education prepares students for state teacher certification in the areas of elementary and early childhood education.

The bachelor of business administration is designed for working adults and professionals seeking to move up in management through development of executive business and communication skills.

The bachelor of science in leadership and cultural studies is an interdisciplinary studies major that emphasizes classical communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills and leadership The program includes studies in philosophy, psychology, sociology, politics and leadership.

The bachelor of science in Biblical studies is designed for students interested in careers in ministry and prepares students for ministry positions and for further study in seminaries or graduate programs.

The R.N.-to-B.S.N. program is offered in a day-long Friday format and is designed for registered nurses wishing to earn a bachelor of science in nursing. The program provides individualized clinical experiences based on interests and learning needs of registered nurses.
