Teams Internationally

Teams of University of Mobile students, faculty and members of area churches are participating in international mission trips this summer through the University Missions program sponsored by the UM School of Christian Studies.

According to Dr. Cecil Taylor, dean of the School of Christian Studies, about 40 students and professors will have participated in the trips by the end of summer. Students from a variety of majors also have the opportunity to earn college credit. The UM groups will be joined by individuals and teams from various churches. Groups will build chapels, hold Vacation Bible Studies for children and youth rallies for teenagers, conduct prayerwalks and worship services, and build relationships with individuals as they share God’s love.

Upcoming trips are scheduled in June and July for Malaysia, Brazil, Wales and Norway. Teams returned recently from Greece and Niger.
