Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to present UM Christian Worldview Lecture

Dr. Daniel Akin, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, will deliver two lectures titled “God on Sex” as part of the University of Mobile Christian Worldview lecture series.

The lectures will be presented Wednesday, March 12 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Weaver Hall auditorium on the university campus. The lectures are free and open to the public.

Akin is the author of “God on Sex: The Creator’s Ideas about Love, Intimacy and Marriage” published by Broadman & Holman. He is a prolific author and editor.

Akin received his bachelor of arts in biblical studies from Criswell College, his master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his doctor of philosophy in humanities from University of Texas at Arlington.
