UM Invites High School Juniors and Seniors to Spring Open House

The University of Mobile will host a Spring Open House for high school juniors and seniors on Friday, April 25.

Beginning at 9 a.m., prospective students will tour the campus and meet with students, faculty and staff. They will receive details about academics, admissions, financial aid, student life and a special UM scholarship for students who attend the open house, then apply for admission.

Graduating high school seniors who are planning to enroll as freshman at UM may register for summer or fall semester classes from 1 - 4 p.m.

High school juniors and seniors who attend the Spring Open House and apply for admission to the University of Mobile will be eligible for a special $2,000 scholarship to UM, awarded at $250 per semester for eight consecutive semesters. Students may also be eligible for additional scholarships and financial aid based on test scores and grade point average, special talents or financial need.

The University of Mobile is a private university affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Nearly 1,600 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Studies, School of Education, School of Nursing, Center for Performing Arts and Center for Adult Programs.
