University of Mobile Names Brian Boyle Vice President for Development

BoyleUniversity of Mobile President Dr. Mark Foley announced the promotion of Brian Boyle to the position of vice president for development at the private Christian university.

Boyle will lead the university's total fund-raising program.

"Brian's experience in business, as well as in our enrollment management services and campus affairs office, demonstrates a tremendous capability," Foley said. "I have high expectations for his success
and his ability to represent the university positively as we set high goals for our future."

Boyle, a 1994 graduate of the University of Mobile, said fundraising is a key to the continued growth and development of the university.

"There are some very exciting things happening at the university, and we will be focusing even more strongly on building relationships with individuals and businesses who are interested in partnering with us,"
Boyle said. He added that the university's recognition among the top master's level universities in the south by U.S. News & World Report is one indication of the impact the university is having in the region.

Boyle has served in a variety of capacities at the university since 1999. He was associate vice president for campus affairs and dean of students from 2005 to the present. Previously, he served as associate
vice president for enrollment management and director of admissions.

Before joining the university administrative staff, Boyle was assistant vice president with SouthTrust Bank.

He holds a bachelor of science in business from the University of Mobile, as well as several executive financial training and investment certificates.

Boyle is an active member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship in Mobile, and has held office and served in various leadership roles in civic, church and higher education organizations. He is and his wife, Mandy, have one
daughter, Savannah.
