CPA Finale Showcases UM Ensembles, Supports Mike Blaylock Scholarship Fund
Sixteen ensembles from the University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts presented the CPA Finale concert and raised scholarship funds on April 19.
The CPA Finale raised $1,340 for the Mike Blaylock Scholarship Fund at the University of Mobile. More than 1,000 people gathered at First Baptist North Mobile to hear performances by more than 200 CPA students and faculty.
The Mike Blaylock Scholarship Fund was established in memory of the vice president for campus affairs who died Dec. 29, 2008. The popular college administrator was known for encouraging students and making a difference in their lives. The scholarship fund continues that legacy.
