Tornadoes Topic of Lunchtime
Lecture at UM

The University of Mobile invites the public to a free lecture entitled "Adventures in Storm Chasing" on Wednesday, Nov. 1. UM Associate Professor of Biology Steven Carey will discuss his experience in storm chasing trips in America’s "Tornado Alley." The public is invited to bring a sack lunch to the 11 a.m. talk at the Harrigan Center on campus.

Carey, who will serve as a storm-chasing guide next summer, will share video and pictures from his storm-chasing trips from 2002 and 2006.
