Professor Recounts his Adventures
in Storm Chasing

The University of Mobile will present a brown bag lecture by Steven Carey, associate professor of biology. The lecture is entitled “Adventures in Storm Chasing” and will be a multimedia presentation of his experience in storm chasing trips in America’s ‘Tornado Alley’. The lecture will be held Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Harrigan Center on campus, and is expected to last around 45 minutes. In recounting his experience in the field, there will be an inclusion of both video and pictures from his chasing trips from 2002 and 2006. There is no seating limitation or cost, but guests are encouraged to arrive early to acquire good seating.
