September 4, 2007 Sign up for the 2008 Honors Italy Trip The University of Mobile is currently taking applications for the 2008 Honors Italy Trip. The trip is open to UM students, faculty, staff and friends. This will be both and educational and fun trip for anyone interested in traveling. The trip dates are set for February 29 – March 9, 2008. The cost ranges between $2510 - $2,710, depending on occupancy. The price includes various features. Included features are; economy class air transportation, airport transfers, including baggage handling, 8 nights first class hotel accommodations, continental buffet breakfast daily, 4 dinners at the hotel or nearby restaurants, 1 dinner at Castel Gandolfo, guided sightseeing, transportation by private deluxe motor coach, and tour escort assistance throughout. Throughout the trip you will have the chance to experience numerous activities. The trip includes visiting Venice, Florence, Rome and Pompeii. You will have an opportunity to experience a gondola ride, have guided sightseeing tours, see the ruins of Pompeii, visit a Roman castle and have time for shopping.
