September 5, 2007 University Of Mobile Announces The University Missions program at the University of Mobile has set dates for mission trips for the upcoming 2007-08 year. Trips include China, Chile, Bangladesh, Greece, Peru, Taiwan, Niger, Brazil, Ireland, Wales, Australia, Mali, and Isle of Man. The University Missions program is operated through the University Of Mobile School Of Christian Studies. Mission trips are led by professors from the School of Christian Studies and are open to students, as well as the public. A team will travel to the Guizhou Province in China Dec.10-21, 2007. Participants will have the opportunity to work in Vallenar, Chile Feb. 29-March 9, 2008. Summer of 2008 opportunities include Barisol, Bangladesh in the early summer; Thessaloniki, Greece May 12-23; and Chiquian, Peru May 23- June 2. Trips to Taipei, Taiwan and Kollow, Niger will both take place in late May. Brazil is listed for June 13-24. Galway, Ireland is on the schedule for mid-July. Graw Valley, Wales is lined up for July 18-28. The last on the list for summer is Tasmania, Australia which is set for late July. On the list of mission trips for Christmas break 2008 are Mali, Timbuktu and Isle of Man. Both trips will be Dec. 10-19.
