University of Mobile Announces Contemporary Show Choir Members

The University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts’ announces members of its vocal ensemble SOUNDS of Mobile.

SOUNDS of Mobile, directed by Lily Wolf, is a highly energetic 12-voice song and dance ensemble with a strong theatrical flair. Performance repertoire includes a wide genre of music including Broadway show tunes, pop, pseudo jazz, ’50s, disco and contemporary Christian music. During the 2007-2008 year, SOUNDS will perform two variety shows, one gospel and the other, popular show tunes. These shows will be performed at schools, churches and civic events. SOUNDS will also bring its vibrant, choreographed performances to the various University of Mobile events such as “StarLight,” and the annual CPA “Christmas Spectacular!”

Members are Lori Birrer of Brownsburg, Ind.; James Boykin of Mobile, Ala.; Brad Forehand of Trussville, Ala.; Lauren French of Cordele, Ga.; Kris Kuss of Valparaiso, Fla.; Kadie McNiel of Stilwell, Kan.; Catherine Odom of St. Stephens, Ala.; Kalyn Pilcher of Wheaton, Ill.; Bryan Royals of Dothan, Ala.; Heather Szymanski of Mobile; Timothy Reese Vines of Trussville, Ala.; and Reuben Walter of Huntsville, Ala.
