Jeb Bush Press Conference Kicks Off UM Scholarship Banquet Festivities Thursday, Oct. 4

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will address University of Mobile students, faculty, staff and members of the local media at a press conference Thursday, Oct. 4, prior to the 3rd annual University of Mobile Scholarship Banquet.

The press conference will begin at 3 p.m. in Weaver Hall lobby. Bush will give a preview of remarks he will make later in the evening at the scholarship banquet, and answer questions. Jeb Bush is the brother of President George W. Bush and the son of former President George Bush. He will discuss “America’s Promise” at the banquet.

The scholarship banquet, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center in downtown Mobile. The event raises scholarship funds for University of Mobile students.
