Registrar’s Office Procedures Degree Conferral Dates Students may complete degree requirements in Fall, Spring or Summer academic periods. The student’s official degree conferral date will be the last day of the term in which all degree requirements are satisfied. - - Fall 2007, Spring 2008 or Summer 2008. All degree requirements must be completed and certified by the Registrar’s Office prior to the degree completion date. Students who need official certification that degree requirements have been met, prior to receiving a diploma, may request an official letter of notification be sent by the Registrar to any agency or employer. For more information, please contact the Registrar’s Office. Degrees are posted within two weeks of the date of conferral. Important note for Summer graduates: It is the student’s responsibility to contact the Registrar’s Office once all coursework has been completed to have the degree processed. Final transcript requests are processed and mailed within one week after degrees have been posted. Degree Application Deadlines Graduation Information Any student planning to participate in the graduation ceremony on May 10, 2008, should complete the “Intent to Graduate/Diploma Order Form” and return it to the Registrar’s Office by the above Degree Application deadlines. Grades Spring grades will be mailed to students no later than May 15, 2008. Grade reports are mailed to the address on file in the Registrar’s Office. Grades are withheld for delinquent accounts, incomplete admissions files and library fines. Transcript Request Student must complete and sign a transcript request form. This form is available through the Registrar’s Office or on-line by clicking here. Transcript requests are processed in the order by which they are received, usually within three days of the request. Your Business Office account must be clear in order for the transcript request to be processed. Students who are requesting final transcripts should remember that degrees are posted two weeks after graduation and transcript requests are then processed within one week after the degree is posted.
