Application Process

  • Click here to apply online to the University of Mobile. Please note that the online application will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. If you begin to fill out the online application and do not finish it, you will need to start over from the beginning when you return to the site. Please have a credit card ready for the special $25 online application fee (normally $50).
  • If you choose not to apply online, you may click here to view a pdf and print a copy of the application to mail in. If you choose not to apply online, please mail your application along with a check or money order for $50 (application & housing fee) to the University of Mobile, Office of Admissions, 5735 College Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36613.
  • If you are not yet 25, and are transferring fewer than 24 semester hours of coursework, submit an official ACT report. (UM administers residual ACT tests. Contact the Office of Admissions at 251.442.2273 for information on dates and fees.)
  • Request official transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended to be sent to the CAP Office:

If you are transferring fewer than 24 semester hours (approximately one year of full-time college coursework), request an official high school transcript or GED score report.

If you were born after January 1, 1957, submit a record of measles, mumps, and rubella shots.

Once all of your forms and documentation have been received, you will be notified by letter regarding your admission status and accepted transfer credit. Questions regarding admission should be directed to Mrs. Doris Wilkins at 251.442.2232 or dwilkins@mail.umobile.edu.
