Did You Know?

                  • You can earn 3 hours of upper level credit on a University Missions project.
                  • You pay only half tuition for all mission project hours that fall outside the 12-17 hour block.
                  • You can do a summer project and register for credit in the fall, or a Christmas break project and register for credit in the spring.
                  • You don’t have to be a ministry student or a Christian Studies major/minor to get CST credit for the trip.
                  • You don’t have to be a UM student to join the team – friends and family can go with you—or without you!
                  • Most students raise most of the money needed for the trip. University Missions can help you.
                  • The $2,700 cost covers everything but shots (if required), passport and pocket money.
                  • You should apply for a passport TODAY if you hope to get it by May 1.
                  • You should apply now if you plan to make a Christmas break trip in 2008. August may be too late.
                  • You can earn nursing credit for the Brazil project.
                  • You are needed! It will take 98 students to fill the teams. As of today, only 13 have applied.
                  • You don’t have to pray about whether to obey the Lord. He has given orders for you to “Go, make disciples of all nations.” The question is not whether God’s plan for the world fits into your plans for the summer. The real issue is whether your plans for the summer fit into God’s plan for the world. Well…?
                  • Your application packet is waiting for you in the Christian Studies Office, or call 442-2406 for more information.
