University Singers
The Worship Choir and the A Cappella Choir will join together periodically as the University Singers for large choral presentations with orchestra. The University Singers perform a wide range of music including choral classics, church anthems, broadway, pop, spirituals, gospel, and praise and worship.

VOICES of Mobile
VOICES of Mobile is a highly versatile, auditioned vocal ensemble consisting of 17 singers. While VOICES focuses on Contemporary Christian music, it also presents music of traditional genres.  VOICES maintains a highly visible and consistent performing schedule. VOICES has performed in the White House, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, and toured extensively throughout the Southeastern United States and Abroad. A great emphasis is placed on the mission statement, "Honor Him with our Lives, Praise Him with our Voices."

RamCorps
RamCorps is an auditioned, elite 25-member instrumental ensemble employing trumpets, mellophones, trombones, baritone horn, contras, and a drum-line on to stages in schools and churches alike across the southeast. RamCorps combines high-impact brass and percussion performance of a variety of styles with choreographed movement.

IMPACT
IMPACT is a mixed vocal ensemble and band that performs contemporary praise and worship music. IMPACT takes the most current sounds of the worship realm to church stages across America.

Chamber Singers
Chamber Singers is a 12-to 16-voice choral ensemble performing vocal chamber works from all style periods. Emphasis is placed on the development of choral tone, dynamics, blend & diction. Chamber Singers performs in a variety of venues ranging from church services & concerts to Carnegie Hall.

Exit 13
Exit 13 is a worship band comprising instrumentation of acoustic and electric guitar, bass, keys, drums and vocals. The band’s focus is to lead worship for youth events, churches, camps and civic events.

SOUNDS of Mobile
The SOUNDS of Mobile is a highly energetic, 12- to 16-voice show choir performing a wide genre of music including, pop, Broadway, jazz, ’50s, disco and contemporary Christian. Vibrant stage presence, vocal quality and the ability to perform choreographed moves while singing are vital to the style and presentation of the group.

Jazz Band
The Jazz Band is a Big Band instrumental ensemble performing music with an emphasis on diverse stylistic approaches to jazz, blues, swing, rock,  latin, funk and fusion music. Jazz improvisation is a main focus of development in the band.

Sofré
Sofre is an auditioned ensemble consisting of Sophomore and Freshman ladies. This group performs a variety of music written, arranged, and directed by upper-class student directors that are chosen each year. These ladies share the stage in all the Center for Performing Arts events and frequents churches across the state.

Welsh Revival
Welsh Revival is a new celtic ensemble consisting of piano, flute, cello, 3 violins, a celtic dancer, and a bodhran. Welsh Revival has a unique and energetic sound with a special influence behind the name.  Welsh Revival's influences date back to over a century ago in Wales. Wales experienced the last National Religious Revival, a revival that brought in an extra 100,000 new converts according to the estimates of the time, and a movement that quickly spread to the 4 corners of the World. These 8 ladies travel across the Southeast, playing in churches and often performing alongside RAMCORPS.

Opera Theatre 
From tragedy to comedy and from Puccini to Gilbert & Sullivan, the Opera Theatre provides a quality experience for students to test the limits of their artistry. With faculty that has experience on opera stages around the world, the productions are certain to draw in a packed house for every show. Past performances include: Mozart's "Magic Flute," Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors," Gilbert & Sullivan's "Pirates of Penzance," Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi" and more.

Piano Ensemble
The Piano Ensemble presents concerts each year featuring students, faculty, and graduates performing classic, traditional and contemporary music on acoustic pianos. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, musicality and stylistic influence within the ensemble.

Symphonic Winds
The University Symphonic Winds is a large concert band which performs classical, traditional and contemporary music in sacred and secular settings. This ensemble participates in and accompanies with the Symphony Orchestra in all major productions and performances for the Center for Performing Arts.

Symphony Orchestra
The Symphony Orchestra is a wind, strings, brass and percussion ensemble open to all students by audition. It is a combination of the Chamber Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, and members of RamCorps, plus professional guest musicians from the Mobile Symphony. The ensemble performs a variety of works from all style periods. 




A Cappella Choir
With pieces spanning all periods of a cappella literature, the A Cappella Choir is a great opportunity to fine-tune sight-reading skills and vocal disciplines. The A Cappella Choir performs in concerts and services in local churches every semester.

The Guitar Ensemble is an acoustic guitar ensemble performing classical, traditional and contemporary music settings. Emphasis is placed on technical excellence and musicality within the ensemble.
