Three-Point Barrage Helps Rams Defeat Loyola

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team took down visiting Loyola University 86-75 in SSAC action Thursday evening. Mobile (10-12, 6-6) remains within one game of 1st-place Belhaven in the SSAC West, and will host William Carey University Saturday at 4 pm. Antonio Hester and Ji Kimbrough led Mobile with 16 points apiece, while Hester added 12 boards for a double-double and Kimbrough dished out six assists. Christian Salinas added 13 points, Cody Scott finished with 12 and Spencer Duke tallied 11 for the Rams.

UMobile Men Fall By Three At Faulkner University

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Faulkner University topped UMobile 63-60 in SSAC men's basketball action Saturday afternoon. Mobile (9-12, 5-6) hosts Loyola University Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7:30 pm. Ji Kimbrough led Mobile with 19 points, Jonathan Tinch added 13 and Antonio Hester finished with 10 points for the Rams. Chris Palmore led Faulkner with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting.

Rams Take Down Badgers In SSAC Action

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team bested rival Spring Hill 79-73 in SSAC action. Mobile (9-11, 5-5) will visit Faulkner Saturday at 4 pm. Antonio Hester led the Rams with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Ji Kimbrough finished with 18, Matthew Turner scored 11 and grabbed 9 boards and Jonathan Tinch tallied 10 points. Todd Martin led the Badgers with 17 points, while Stephen Burches added 14 points and 6 assists.

Last-Second Shot Sinks Rams In Overtime

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Auburn University-Montgomery defeated the University of Mobile 57-56 on a last-second jumper in overtime in SSAC men's basketball action Thursday. Mobile (8-11, 4-5) visits Spring Hill Jan. 26 at 7:30 pm. Antonio Hester led Mobile with 21 points and 19 rebounds, while Ji Kimbrough finished with 18 points. All other Rams combined for only 17 points. Marquez Brooks led the Warhawks with 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting.

Rams Fall To Tougaloo After Slow Start

TOUGALOO, Miss.-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team got off to a slow start Monday and fell 52-58 at Tougaloo College in non-conference NAIA action. Antonio Hester was the lone Ram to score in double figures, finishing with a game-high 22 points and 13 rebounds. Next highest was Cody Scott at 9 points and 8 boards. Outside of Hester's 11-of-18 shooting effort, the rest of the team hit only 8-of-29 from the floor.

Mobile Men Fall Late To Visiting Blazers

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 69-73 to Southern States Athletic Conference foe Belhaven University Saturday evening. Mobile (8-9, 4-4) visits Tougaloo College Monday at 7:30 pm. Antonio Hester led the Rams with a game-high 30 points and 16 rebounds on 12-of-16 shooting, while Ji Kimbrough added 10 points for Mobile. Daryl Arnold led Belhaven with 21 points, while Chris Cofield added 13.

Mobile Men Rally Late To Take Down William Carey

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The UMobile men's basketball team defeated SSAC foe William Carey 68-64 in road action Thursday evening. Mobile (8-8, 4-3) hosts Belhaven Saturday at 7 pm. Christian Salinas hit 4-of-6 3-pointers to finish with a game-high 15 points, Antonio Hester added 14 points and 11 rebounds, Brock Dockery finished with 13 points and Marcus Polnett added 10 points off the bench for Mobile.

Life Scores 51 In Opening Half To Beat UMobile 88-70

MARIETTA, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 70-88 at Life University in non-conference action Monday evening. Mobile (7-8, 3-3) visits William Carey University Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 pm. Antonio Hester and Brock Dockery each led Mobile with 18 points. Hester shot 8-of-9 from the floor and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Dockery shot 5-of-7 from 3-point range.

UMobile Men Rally Late To Beat Emmanuel 60-58

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, La-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team defeated Emmanuel College 60-58 Saturday evening in SSAC action. Mobile (7-7, 3-3) visits Life University Monday, Jan. 9 at 6 pm. The Rams got 25 points on 10-of-12 shooting from Antonio Hester and 18 points from Ji Kimbrough to account for all but 17 points of the offensive output. Luke Miller was the only Lion to score in double figures, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting.

Rams Hit Free Throws Late, Beat Southern Wesleyan

CENTRAL, S.C.-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team hit the road to pick up a conference win Friday, defeating Southern Wesleyan 69-62. Mobile (6-7, 2-3) will visit Emmanuel College Saturday at 5 pm. The Rams got a game-high 18 points from Brock Dockery on 6-of-12 shooting, 11 points from Ji Kimbrough and 10 points off the bench from Matthew Turner. Nikola Lambic led Southern Wesleyan with 13 points and 8 rebounds.
