Fernado Paiva Earns Capital One Academic All-America Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- Fernando Paiva was named to the 2013 3rd-Team Capital One Academic All-America College Division At-Large Team Monday as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Paiva, a senior from Sao Paulo, Brazil, finished with a 3.84 GPA while majoring in athletic training and psychology.

Men's Tennis Falls At NAIA National Championship

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team fell 0-9 to Cumberland University on day one of action at the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tuesday at the Mobile Tennis Center. Mobile finishes the season with a 9-5 overall record. This was Mobile's sixth-straight trip to nationals and 13th overall.

Men's Tennis Headed To National Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team will be making its sixth-straight appearance at the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday. Mobile (9-4) beat out Spring Hill for the host bid, and is making its 13 trip to nationals overall. The Rams won the title in 1993 and 1997.

Men's Tennis Falls At SSAC Tournament

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Coastal Georgia topped the University of Mobile men's tennis team 5-0 in a battle of teams receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25 at the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament Saturday morning. Mobile (9-4) will next compete at the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship May 14-18 at the Mobile Tennis Center.

UMobile Men Best Badgers; Earn Host Bid To Nationals

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team crushed Spring Hill 8-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday afternoon. Mobile (9-3, 2-2) is done with the regular season. The SSAC Championship takes place April 18-21 in Montgomery, Ala. The Rams have locked up the host bid for the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship.
