The University of Mobile School of Business presented awards to two students and inducted 17 others into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society.
Dr. Jane Finley, dean of the UMobile School of Business
, presented the ACBSP Leadership Award to Ashley Shelton of Mobile. The award is given to a student demonstrating outstanding leadership in the School of Business.
Amy Wright of Mobile was awarded the Leon C. Megginson Best Paper Award, given to the Master of Business Administration student who wrote the best MBA Comprehensive Paper as chosen by the Comp Committee.
The awards were presented during the April 10 induction ceremony for UMobile School of Business students into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society.
Inductees are students majoring in accounting, business administration, computer information systems, and MBA programs who are juniors and seniors in the top 20 percent of their respective classes or graduate students who have attained at least a 3.6 grade point average in more than half of their required courses.
